About Buriram
About 400 kilometers east of Bangkok you will find one of the largest and most populated provinces in Isan. Even if the main part of Buriram's nature is forest, it's the many rice farms that gives the majority of the people its income.
Even though the province is one of the poorest in the country, they have many festivals and attraction that brings a lot of tourists here.
In december every year, they arrange a dragon boat festival, that attracts a big crowd.

Attractions
Buriram's bird park is a nature area located about 15 kilometers from the city. The park attracts many different kind of birds in november and april every year, and the birds attract many bird watchers.
The culture center was build to preserve southern Isan's unique culture and tradition.
Prasat Hin Phanom Rung is a Khmer inspired temple, it´s one of the province main attractions.
