About Chai Nat
In central Thailand, north of Bangkok, one finds the small town of Chai Nat. During the many battles with the neighboring country of Burma, many of the Thai forces was located in Chai Nat. Since the ruling Thai forces are often assumed to victory was the site eventually named Chai Nat (place of victory).
The city lies on the Chao Phraya River west bank and in its neighborhood is a large number of temples. 13 kilometers north of the city is also the area's largest pond. The 238 meters long and 14 meter high structure was built in 1956 and is today the country's oldest.
