About Nakhon Sawan
About 240 km north of Bangkok you find Nakhon Sawan, or Pak Nam Pho. The four rivers that meet in the province, together with the province's strategic location made Nakhon Sawan one of the most important inland trading hubs.
The large proportion of Chinese who live in the area, through its food culture and festivals put a special mark on the province. One of these typical dishes are the small rolls of eggs and peanuts known as Khanom Moji. The Chinese New Year that occurres in January-February every year are celebrated here. Thousands of people will come here to witness the spectacular dragon dancers dance to traditional music.
