About Prachin Buri
Prachin Buri Province is located east of Bangkok and the 130 kilometer-long route is easy to harvest by bus or train. Outside the city large ruins from Dvaravati era has been found. The ruins show clear signs of an over 1000 years old town once stood here. North of the city are now major forest areas, some have been classified as national parks.
Bamboo is one of the area's main building and working materials. The strong grass grows incredibly quickly and can be used for everything from the manufacture of small baskets to the construction of large residential buildings. The province also cultivate a large number of exotic fruits, which often are on display at the fruit market Nong Cha Om. A visitor can often get a free sample to check the freshness.
