About Prachuap Khiri Khan
About 280 km south of Bangkok, you find the main city and province with the same name. Many tourists visit the province each year and more are passing on the train that runs between Bangkok and southern Thailand. The city of Prachuap Khiri Khan was rebuilt in 1845, after being abandoned after the war against Burma.
Hua Hin is the province's most popular tourist destination and its long beach have been very popular among Thailand's over and middle class. Since the eighty's and nineties have foreign tourists found their way here and today there is a wide range of hotels and restaurants. Hua Hin is characterized by a pleasant atmosphere and many foreign nationals have chosen to more or less permanently reside here.
