About Rayong
About 180 km east of the capital of Thailand you find the province of Rayong. The area includes dozens of smaller islands and not less than 100 km beach. From Bangkok you can reach the province by car, bus or taxi, which takes about three or four hours. A faster option is to take flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok) to U-Tapao Airport, the flight time is approximately 40 minutes.
Many tourists who travel to the province do it to visit Koh Samet, Rayong, which is the largest island with some of the best beaches in the Siam bay. The sand on the most popular beaches are white and very fine-grained. Although the island is classified as a national park, has allowed the authorities to build resorts and restaurants here. The island has fourteen beaches and many of them suitable for diving and snorkeling.
Since Bangkok is located relatively close, consists passengers out of both the tourism of non Thais and Thais. The average temperature is normally at 28 degrees, which is a few degrees cooler than in those popular tourist areas in the south. It easily reaches the island by ferry from Ban Phe.

Koh Samet is a small, idyllic island that is appropriate for queue relaxation, bath and eat good food on the shores cozy restaurants.
Khao Cha-Mao National Park is in principle entirely untouched forest where, among other finds impressive waterfalls and beautiful scenery. Possibility of camping there.
