About Samut Songkhram
In central Thailand you find the porvince of Samut Songkhram, the province is the smallest in Thailand. Bangkok is only 72 km away. The famous Siamese twins Chang and Eng Bunker were born here. Samut Songkhram is a coastal city and the Mae Klong river runs through the province. Just in Mae Klong river, you can experience the famous floating market, where vendors pack their boats loaded with food and drink and sells it on the River.
Samut Songkhram´s history stretches long back, back then Samut Songkhram belonged to Ratchaburi and back then the city was called Suan Nork.
