About Udon Thani
About 550 kilometers north-east of Bangkok is the city and province of Udon Thani located. Communication with the capital, with train, bus, car or plane. This has made Udon Thani to one of northeastern Thailand's hubs. Night train with sleeping carts departs daily from Bangkok and travel time is about ten hours.
For a tourist visiting Udon Thani is the city's public park Nong Prachak, worth a visit. The area consists of a small lake and the local people visit the park frequently.
